The vineyard
The grapes originate from Finca El Bosque, a unique vineyard planted in 1973 in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. The soil, characterized by clay-limestone composition and abundant gravel, provides excellent drainage and a distinctive freshness to the vines.
Winemaking
Following a manual harvest with grape-by-grape selection, fermentation takes place in French oak vats using indigenous yeasts. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 18 months in new French and Central European oak barrels.
