Albariño: Buy Online with Home Delivery

Albariño is the white grape of the Atlantic: fresh, aromatic and with a saline touch that calls for seafood. This selection brings together Albariño from Rías Baixas and Alvarinho from northern Portugal, delivered in 2–4 working days from Marbella, free from €100.

What Albariño tastes like

White peach, citrus and blossom, lively acidity and a finish that recalls the sea. Young wines are direct and refreshing; lees-aged ones gain body, texture and, over time, notes of honey and nuts.

On both banks of the Miño

In Galicia, Albariño rules Rías Baixas, from the saline wines of Val do Salnés to the riper ones of Condado do Tea. Across the river in Portugal, the same grape is called Alvarinho and makes slightly warmer, more structured whites in Monção e Melgaço.

What to drink it with

Oysters, goose barnacles, pulpo á feira, grilled fish, sushi, ceviche or Thai food: Albariño goes with almost anything from the sea.

FAQ

8–10 °C for young wines; 10–12 °C for lees-aged ones.
