The vineyard
The grapes originate from the El Picón parcel, a unique vineyard of 1.6 hectares in Pedrosa de Duero. The clay-loam soil with surface gravel naturally limits the yield of the Tempranillo vines, providing high concentration to the fruit.
Winemaking
Following manual harvesting and cold maceration, fermentation takes place in oak vats using indigenous yeasts. This red wine then undergoes spontaneous malolactic fermentation in barrels and is aged for 27 months in French oak.
