Incredible Beaujolais - powerful yet balanced, rounded and noble. Cherry candy, cola, earthy, liquorice, violet. Funky yet clean.

Not made by Jean-Louis Dutraive but by his son Lucas. Good surprise here even if the family is never too far from its members when it is time to make wine ! Good freshness and acidity for this gamay the delivers red fruit, floral and spice.

Girlfriend's review (because my nose is now clogged): deep purple colour, smells like the skin of black raisins, long finish, acidic, black plums, super oaky, good amount of tannins, blackberries, fruity, but not sweet.

Really tasty, not had this cuvee before. Apparently his negoce label. A bit lifted with ripe berries. Mellow tannins, moderate acid, well balanced with a lingering finish. Yum.

This is really nice, deep wild strawberry and a bit of minerals in the base, funk and years and a bit of that cranberry sour. Decant and let it air a bit, I like drinking them around 15 degrees and it’s awesome with BBQ chicken

Perhaps time in cellar will make this more interesting but otherwise agree with vivino consensus of 3.6 for this well made but not that interesting gamay...

90p as fresh and vibrant as you would expect from dutraive. Lacks some barnyard and spice. Not as complex as Carolon and especially not as well made as his wines outside grand cour. No doubt a razor sharp bojo, but knowing what the winemaker is capable of.
