The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from vineyards with an average age of 70 years located in the region's prestigious "golden mile". The Tempranillo is grown near Olivares de Duero, while the Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the La Planta estate, characterized by its limestone soils.
Winemaking
After manual harvesting, fermentation takes place separately in 500-liter French oak barrels. The wine then undergoes aging on fine lees for 35 months in 228-liter barrels, without racking.
