The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from 35-year-old vines located in the Duero River valley and the slopes of Curiel de Duero. The sandy-loam and limestone soils, situated at altitudes up to 800 meters, provide structure and mineral character.
Winemaking
Following manual harvest, fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in gravity-fed truncated cone tanks. The wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional 12 months of refinement in the bottle.
