The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from selected plots in Villalba, situated at altitudes up to 650 meters, and old vines in Torremontalbo. Clay soils with pebbles and the Atlantic-influenced climate contribute to the balanced concentration of the Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo varieties.
Winemaking
Following manual harvesting, fermentation takes place in wooden vats, and malolactic fermentation is completed in concrete tanks. The wine then ages for 24 months in French and American oak barrels before final refinement in the bottle.
