Chardonnay: Buy Online with Home Delivery

Chardonnay is the world’s most versatile white grape: it changes completely with climate, soil and the winemaker’s hand. This selection covers Burgundy, Spain and the New World, delivered in 2–4 working days from Marbella, free from €100.

Oaked or unoaked

Without oak, in cool climates such as Chablis, it is taut, citrusy and mineral. Fermented and aged in barrel, as in Meursault or California, it becomes creamy, with notes of butter, hazelnut and vanilla. Between the two lie endless shades, which is why every Chardonnay is different.

From Burgundy to the rest of the world

Its birthplace is Burgundy, where it makes some of the world’s most prized whites. It is also the base of Blanc de Blancs Champagne. In Spain it thrives in Penedès, Costers del Segre, Somontano and Navarre, and beyond Europe it shines in California, New Zealand and South Africa.

FAQ

Unoaked at 8–10 °C; oaked at 11–13 °C so its aromas can open.
