The vineyard
The grapes originate from the El Picón parcel, a 1.6-hectare vineyard in Pedrosa de Duero. Its clay-loam soil with surface gravel and low fertility naturally restricts yields, ensuring remarkable concentration in the fruit.
Winemaking
Following cold maceration, fermentation takes place in French oak vats using indigenous yeasts. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 31 months in extra-fine grain French oak barrels.
