Old skool brandy! Was told bought SGD220 in the 90s. Smooth XO, 34 years. Tasted neat. Brown tawny. Big Vanilla and caramel, chocolate notes. Very slight burn, vicious, caramel, chocolate. Absolutely wonderful. Smooth delicious buttery long aftertaste

First cognac in a long while and very special one. Hennessy XO Exclusive Collection VII 2014 Tom Dixon marking a 250th anniversary of the cognac house. Blend of some 100 Eaux-de-vie for at least 30 years of age. Brown amber on eyes with strong nose of sweets, toast, oak, and caramel. M body, viscous structure, lengthy finish with notes of vanilla, hazelnut, molasses, and dried apricot. I am not quite experienced of cognac, yet this one shows an apparent quality with balanced palate and complicated of aging TNs.

4.6 stars. very good XO. Slight burn, but still smooth. Nose: apricot, warm caramel and a touch of orange or citrus. Taste: molasses, maple, slight hint of citrus. Not sweet.

4.3 One of a kind! The mass-product that became for many as the standard of ideal Cognac. Aroma of burned sugar, oak and crushed nuts. Very rich, but well-balanced and opulent. Taste of toffees, maple syrop, hazelnuts and some spicy notes of dried orange peels at the long, smooth and very enjoyable aftertaste. After many years from last tasting again great result No need to recommend! Cheers!
