TRE BICCHIERI London 2026. This Satèn is a nice Blanc de Blanc with lower dosage (than Milledi). Elegant and complex, well balanced, with long finish. Fine mousse. Intense aromas of fresh citrus with toasty notes. The palate is complex with delicate layers of grapefruit, lemon, apple, bitter almond, honey, smoke and flint. Creamy texture, buttery brioche character. Perfect aperitif wine.

Back to what I really love🍾♥️ Classy exterior (simply “Wow!”🫢) Light golden in color, above-average effervescence and very elegant, tiny bubbles perpetually running in the glass. I had it served at about 6C. Green apple, kiwi, pear, peach, lemon, biscuit, almond, hay, and minerals— somewhat sweet on the aroma, mostly stone fruit (however very well balanced) on the palate. Fabulous by itself, it paired deliciously with grilled eel (unagi)🐍🤤🥂 Owerall, a highly recommended product from a trusted producer🫧😃🥇✨

I have a soft spot for Franciacorta Saten wines as they can be quite appealing due to their silky and smooth character, but this one was a bit too soft and creamy for me. The bouquet has the textbook Blanc de Blancs attributes such as citrus, apple and brioche. The palate is smooth and creamy with toasty-yeasty notes and on the lees ageing intensity of aromas. Good, but I preferred the winery’s vintage brut.
