Another lovely showing from Charles Heidsieck. Elegant and expressive, with red berries, floral notes and a gentle savoury complexity. Fresh acidity keeps it lively, while the texture is rounded and polished. Very enjoyable at brunch and slightly more generous in character than the Blanc de Blancs. Perhaps it is the colour or the pinot noir that makes me like this a bit better. More structured

At another industry show tasting through everything they'll let me. This has a small amount of Pinot Noir wine to get the rose. 8 grams dosage. Some red delicious Apple 🍎 on the palate. High acid. Tons of bubbles.

Informal mixed bag wine tasting event in Oslo. Not enough time for detailed tasting notes. Ripe red fruit, cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Soft tones of ripe green fruit, baked apples and white peach. Rich autolysis notes of brioche, bread yeast and pastry. Juicy, smooth, vibrant and elegant. Great citrus of baked lemon. Brioche, butter, bread yeast and light toast. Great concentration, acidity and intensity. Beautiful mousse. Long finish Great rosé Champagne that taste much more mature than its actual age.

Whoaaa! This really was one of my wines of the meet up with@[1|24266316|SV] and @[1|17147748|Nicole Ho-Shing]! Thanks Nicole! We all loved the profound aged notes mingling with the red berries. @[1|23165897|Pierre Dionne] was on to something with the Champs Rosé for win comment. :) A bright orange bronze in the glass with aromas of brioche, croissant and deep nutty whiffs. Palate shows peach, red cherry and ripe strawberry with apple and pastries on the finish. A long long finish with toast dominating.

5 wine blind tasting & we had this in the middle to palate cleanse 🤤 🥂 One of my fave NV rosés out there. Prices keep climbing 🧗‍♀️ but it delivers every time Used to be 7 yrs on lees now it’s 3 🤔. 2019 to 2022 this bottle. Still lovely. Creamy raspberry & strawberry 🍓 mousse, croissant 🥐, flinty minerals, ocean 🌊 breeze, pomegranate finish. Happy birthday bubbles to me #2! Doing a head to head of the Charles Heidsieck Champagnes, Brut versus rosé. The rosé is delightful, a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier with a splash of Pinot Noir still wine for colour. One of the better NV rosés on the market, fairly comparable to Billecart-Salmon. Notes of raspberry, rose petals, orange zest, tangy apple and wet stone.
