Situado estratégicamente en el corazón del noroeste de la denominación Saint-Emilion, el Château La Dominique cuenta con una historia vitivinícola que se remonta al siglo 16. Rodeado de distinguidos castillos vinícolas como Cheval Blanc, Figeac, l’Evangile y La Conseillante, esta propiedad ha sido custodiada por la familia Fayat desde 1969. En la actualidad, la finca fusiona con maestría tradición y modernidad, destacando su bodega contemporánea diseñada por el renombrado arquitecto Jean Nouvel. Relais de la Dominique se distingue como el segundo vino emblemático de esta excepcional propiedad.

Las viñas se nutren de suelos caracterizados por arcilla pardosa, arenas antiguas con una mezcla de grava sobre una base arcillosa. Con una edad promedio de 35 años, la vendimia se realiza de forma totalmente manual para garantizar la calidad óptima de las uvas. El proceso de crianza durante 14 meses se lleva a cabo con esmero: el 15% en barricas de roble y el 85% restante en depósitos de acero inoxidable.
