Valbuena 5º 2020, una excepcional añada de Vega Sicilia, presenta un coupage magistral de Tempranillo (97%) y Merlot (3%). Esta obra maestra vinícola es el fruto de la renombrada bodega Vega Sicilia, integrada en el grupo Tempos Vega Sicilia, cuya reputación internacional ha crecido continuamente desde su adquisición por David Álvarez Díez en 1982. Fundada en 1864, la bodega ha elevado los estándares de calidad en el mundo del vino.

Las uvas que dan vida al Valbuena 5º provienen de parcelas seleccionadas en suaves laderas con suelos ricos en calcio, lo que aporta un carácter distintivo y una estructura única a este vino. Los viñedos de la Finca Vega Sicilia abarcan 210 hectáreas, con una edad media de 35 años y altitudes que oscilan entre 700 y 900 metros sobre el nivel del mar, condiciones ideales para producir uvas de calidad excepcional.

La vendimia, realizada manualmente en cajas de 12 kg, garantiza que cada racimo sea tratado con el máximo cuidado. La crianza del Valbuena 5º es meticulosa y única: 12 meses en barricas de roble, seguidos de 12 meses en tinos de madera, seis meses en depósitos de acero inoxidable, y finalmente, 18 meses de afinado en botella. Este proceso de cinco años de crianza entre madera y botella otorga a este vino su nombre y su personalidad única.
