Sierra Cantabria Amancio 2021, un destacado vino tinto de la prestigiosa Denominación de Origen La Rioja, es una creación excepcional de las reconocidas Bodegas Sierra Cantabria. Este vino monovarietal de Tempranillo, procedente de la Finca La Veguilla, que abarca 16,5 hectáreas en los alrededores de San Vicente de la Sonsierra, este vino se distingue por su suelo arcillo-calcáreo, con áreas de canto rodado fino en la superficie. Con una alta densidad de plantación y una baja producción por hectárea, la Finca La Veguilla ha adoptado prácticas de viticultura biodinámica desde 1975, utilizando abonado orgánico para garantizar la calidad de la uva.

El proceso de elaboración de este vino es meticuloso, con despalillado manual grano a grano, seguido de una maceración pre-fermentativa en frío. La fermentación tiene lugar en pequeñas tinas de roble de 5 hectolitros, con tradicional pisado dos veces al día. La fermentación maloláctica se realiza en barricas nuevas de roble francés, seguida de un envejecimiento de 24 meses en barricas nuevas de roble francés.
