Este Chardonnay excepcional proviene del viñedo de Tim y Angela Coddington, cuyas uvas han formado parte de las mezclas de Kumeu River Estate desde 1998. Sin embargo, el carácter único y la riqueza de estas uvas llevaron a la bodega, en 2006, a otorgarles el estatus de viñedo único, destacando su perfil distintivo. El viñedo, plantado en 1994, se gestiona bajo prácticas sostenibles y es apto para veganos. Su ubicación orientada al norte y protegida garantiza condiciones óptimas para el cultivo de Chardonnay de calidad excepcional.

La vinificación sigue un enfoque artesanal. Las uvas se cosechan manualmente, se prensan en racimos enteros y se fermentan con levaduras silvestres en barricas de roble francés de mayor edad. Una vez completada la fermentación maloláctica, el vino madura durante 11 meses en estas barricas, lo que aporta profundidad, textura cremosa y una complejidad sobresaliente.
