Este vino presenta un atractivo color pajizo y brillante. Su aroma es intenso, destacando hierbas secas, frutas maduras y un toque especiado. En boca, se revela sabroso y frutal, con una acidez bien balanceada. Ofrece un paladar equilibrado, prolongado y con un fino amargor que lo hace redondo y agradable.

El Transistor es un exquisito vino blanco de la Compañía de vinos Telmo Rodriguez, elaborado completamente con uvas Verdejo en la D.O. Rueda. Representa la esencia más auténtica de un vino procedente de viñedos centenarios en La Seca, mostrando lo mejor del Verdejo. Los viñedos tradicionales en vaso, junto con una producción limitada y técnicas de vinificación respetuosas y simples, complementadas por dos décadas de experiencia y conocimiento profundo de la región, aseguran la consistencia y calidad superior de este vino.

Proveniente de localidades como La Seca, Serrada, Pozaldez, Foncastín, y parajes como El Monte y Valdelaíno, este vino se beneficia de suelos extremadamente pedregosos sobre terrazas fluviales cuaternarias. La viticultura se practica de manera tradicional en viñedos antiguos, con vendimia manual en cajas. La fermentación y maduración se realizan usando levaduras autóctonas en una combinación de barricas y foudres de madera de varios tamaños y tipos, con un período de envejecimiento de 8 a 9 meses.
