Известный своими выдающимися винами из Гренаша в Приорате, Альваро Паласиос основал винодельню в 1990 году, сыграв ключевую роль в становлении Приората как одного из самых престижных винодельческих регионов Испании.

Производство Les Terrasses основано на винограде с одного классифицированного участка площадью 1,30 га — La Baixada. Его лозы возрастом около 20 лет аккуратно расположены на террасах на высоте 300 метров над уровнем моря, на характерных ликорелловых почвах, типичных для региона сланцах, с крутыми склонами. Органическое земледелие осуществляется с применением биодинамических методов лечения и соблюдением лунных циклов на всех этапах процесса.

На винодельне грозди аккуратно очищают от стеблей и измельчают. Далее они ферментируются нативными дрожжами в дубовых чанах с периодом мацерации 55 дней. Наконец, вино выдерживается 20 месяцев в бочках из французского дуба.
