Viña Sastre Pesus 2009, a red wine with Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, is the distinctive creation of Bodegas Hermanos Sastre. Founded in 1992, Bodegas Hermanos Sastre has maintained a cultivation and production approach rooted in tradition, marked by a deep respect for the land, with the aim of producing exceptional wines. This exclusive wine, made from 85% Tempranillo and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, embodies the essence of quality.
The vineyards of Viña Sastre are strategically located in La Horra, at an altitude of 800 to 840 meters above sea level, on hills that slope towards the basins of the Duero and Gromejón rivers. This particular environment concentrates warm summer temperatures, promoting the ripening of the grapes, while the soil, naturally drained by the slope, adds a unique dimension to the wine. The 45 hectares of vineyards are located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero DO, protected by dense pine forests, and the Viña Sastre Pesus 2009 vines have an average age of 100 years.
This wine is grown naturally, without the incorporation of mineral fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides. The harvest is done by hand, in 12 kg boxes, carefully separating each type of grape. Before being bottled, the wine ages for 18 months in new French oak barrels. Discover and enjoy the uniqueness of this wine when you buy Viña Sastre Pesus 2009 in our online store.
