This exceptional white blend from Rioja seduces with an elegant aromatic combination, where white flowers bring freshness, while citrus nuances of grapefruit and lemon zest intertwine with delicate notes of almonds and wild herbs. On the palate, it stands out for its purity and precision, displaying a vertical and vibrant structure, driven by a bright and well-defined acidity. Its balance and sophistication are reflected in a long and refined finish, where ripe stone fruit leaves a persistent and enveloping mark.

Oxer Bastegieta Iraun 2023 is an exceptional dry white wine, produced by Oxer Wines within the prestigious DOCa. Rioja. This wine faithfully reflects the richness of the Rioja Alavesa terroir, coming from a 101-year-old vineyard, planted in 1919 in Elvillar, at an altitude of 600 metres on a calcareous clay soil.

Grown organically, with regenerative farming principles, this vineyard is worked with the utmost respect for the environment, allowing the essence of the terroir to express itself without interference.

In the winery, intervention is minimal to preserve the authenticity of the wine. Alcoholic fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, applying a hyperoxidation technique during pressing to enhance its stability and complexity. The wine is then transferred to used 600L French oak barrels, where fermentation ends and ageing begins, developing depth and character.
