Under the meticulous supervision of Riccardo Cotarella for more than two decades, the winery has focused its efforts on highlighting the unique qualities of its terroir, resulting in the production of high-quality and modern wines. Most of the vines come from recent plantations, with a density of 5.500 plants per hectare, and a yield that does not exceed 1 kg per plant.
The winemaking process includes an eighteen-day maceration in contact with the skins, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels. The aging of Sangiovese and Merlot takes place separately for twelve months in French oak barrels before final assembly prior to bottling. Subsequently, the wine rests in the bottle for at least six months before distribution.
