Really great wine. Easy to drink but big and bold. The nose isn’t great so don’t let that deter you. It’s a great table wine.

Description

This wine has a ruby color with violet hues. Its aroma is a captivating mix of ripe black fruits and subtle floral notes. When you taste it, you perceive a powerful and dry entry, accompanied by a balanced acidity that adds a medium-high touch. Its well-balanced tannins give it a noticeable body. The flavors unfold with a rich combination of black fruits, spices, mineral and toasted nuances. The finish is distinguished by a subtle smoky touch, and its aftertaste lingers on the palate for a long time.

La Fleur Vivaltus 2017 Magnum, an exquisite red wine from the renowned Vivaltus winery, located in the prestigious Ribera del Duero DO. This winery is strategically located between the charming medieval castles of Peñafiel and Curiel de Duero, within the idyllic Cuco Valley, offering an incomparable natural environment.

Made with 100% Tempranillo (Tinta Fina), the grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude between 840 and 1000 meters above sea level, with vines that are between 70 and 100 years old.

Vinification is carried out individually for each plot, using gravity in all stages of the process. A manual selection of the grapes is carried out in the vineyard and a meticulous optical selection process in the winery. Fermentation is carried out naturally, with native yeasts and with the minimum possible intervention. Subsequently, the wine goes through an aging period of 11 months in extra-fine grain French oak barrels, 20% of these barrels being new.

La Fleur Vivaltus 2017 Magnum and enjoy the elegance, freshness and fruit expression that only this exceptional wine can offer.
