In the visual phase, the wine appears with a bright straw yellow color and greenish reflections. This wine stands out for being elegant, fresh and complex, exhibiting a marked fruity character that includes a wide range of white and citrus fruits. The aromas of fennel, scrubland and an aniseed and balsamic background combine with a subtle mineral memory. In the mouth, the notes of fresh fruit reappear, showing an unctuous, sweet and elegant profile, with a soft touch of final bitterness, typical of the Verdejo variety, supported by excellent acidity. Its great structure favors notable persistence, inviting you to enjoy each sip.
José Pariente Verdejo 2023 is a white wine from the Rueda appellation of origin, produced by the prestigious José Pariente winery. The grapes come from selected vineyards, planted between 1962 and 1991, owned by the family. The vineyard is characterized by its pebble soil, poor in organic matter and with some limestone outcrops in the highest areas. The continental climate of the region, with extreme temperatures, allows for slow aromatic maturation of the grapes, maintaining excellent acidity.
After the harvest, the musts ferment in stainless steel, concrete tanks and wooden vats. In some vinifications, depending on the acidity, there is a slight hint of malolactic conversion. The wines remain on their lees for 4 months, which contributes to the uniqueness and differentiation of José Pariente Verdejo.
This wine is ideal for aperitifs and perfectly accompanies fish, seafood, pasta, rice and white meat dishes. It also pairs very well with smoked meats, soft cheeses and sausages. Buying José Pariente Verdejo 2023 wine ensures you enjoy a fresh and elegant white, perfect for any occasion.
