E.Guigal Côte Rôtie La Turque 2014 is a dry red wine, made with 93% Syrah and 7% Viognier. E. Guigal stands out as one of the most prestigious producers in the Rhône Valley, with a history that began in 1946, when Etienne Guigal founded the winery in Ampuis, on the banks of the Rhône River. Just steps from the iconic sunny slopes of the Côte Rôtie, Guigal has built its reputation with iconic wines such as the famous "LaLa": La Landonne, La Mouline and La Turque.

The winery has a rich history in viticulture and today owns vineyards throughout the Rhône region, both north and south. It produces wines using classic Northern Rhône and Mediterranean varieties such as Grenache, Monastrell, Viognier and Roussanne, although its true focus has always been Syrah and Côte Rôtie. Among Guigal's most prestigious wines are La Landonne, La Turque and La Mouline, all originating from the Côte Rôtie in the northern Rhône. These wines are highly sought after, and each has achieved the top rating of 100 points on the Robert Parker scale in various vintages.

La Turque 2014 wine, for example, comes from vineyards with soils composed of silicone limestone and shale, resulting in a clay soil rich in iron oxide. The vines, with an average age of 25 years, produce grapes that go through a winemaking process in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. The pressing is automatic, and the alcoholic fermentation, together with the maceration, lasts for 4 weeks. Finally, the wine is aged for 42 months in new oak barrels.

For those looking to purchase wine with unmatched heritage and quality, E. Guigal offers a wine experience that combines tradition, excellence and meticulous attention to detail.
