Description

This wine stands out for its depth and complexity, displaying aromas of blackberries, black cherries, and delicate cocoa notes. On the palate, it presents firm, well-structured tannins with a finely velvety and powdery texture. Its mid-palate is juicy, balanced, and medium to full-bodied, culminating in a long, elegant, and persistent finish that reflects all its elegance and character.

Derenoncourt Vignerons Domaine de l'A Rouge 2023 is a highly elegant dry red wine, made from a careful selection of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes from the vineyards of Bordeaux, France. This estate boasts 11 hectares of vineyards, where the vines, with an average age of 40 years, are individually cultivated to maintain their natural balance, control their vigor, and highlight the unique identity of each plot. The soils combine clay and calcareous textures, with the presence of molasses from the Fronsadais, which lends a distinctive mineral complexity to the wine.

The winemaking process is carried out with artisanal precision. After complete or partial destemming, the grapes are carefully transferred to the tanks, avoiding any type of pressure that could alter their integrity. Alcoholic fermentation develops spontaneously, thanks to native yeasts, thus preserving the authenticity of the terroir. Depending on the characteristics of each harvest and the thickness of the skins, extraction is carried out by gentle pumping over or manual pigeage, techniques that achieve fine tannins and a silky texture.

Subsequently, malolactic fermentation takes place partially in tanks and partially in barrels, providing roundness and balance. Finally, the wine rests in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months, achieving optimal maturity and a deep and elegant aromatic expression.

For lovers of wines with character and authenticity, Derenoncourt Vignerons Domaine de l'A Rouge 2023 is a Bordeaux gem that combines tradition and precision. Discover its essence and be seduced by its elegance when you purchase wine online in our store.
