Wow. One of the best rosé wines I have tried. The color is amazing, it’s intense and inspiring before even smelling it. Aromas of strawberry,

Amazing antidote to insipid pink - intensity, energy, acidity, tension. More than I would normally contemplate spending on a rosé, but have

Unexpectedly found an older vintage of this top of the line, oak aged Rose. Merlot blend with a touch of PV, grown at 1000m altitude. Compared

Even if I don’t enjoy rose to full extend, I realise that this is a great wine made by Mr. Bobet packed with red fruit with a hint of minerals.

Very nice, pale onion skin rosé. Little extraction and highly classy wine. Very delicate as it is at a very close distance to oxidation given

The French, very pricey rosé and not quite delivering for the price. It's very nice but I was expecting more.

Description

Wine with a suggestive copper tone that displays a distinguished bouquet, impregnated with the elegance of oak and delicate touches of thyme, along with subtle aromas of quince, fennel and a soft floral note. Its flavor begins with a seductive entry, where juicy flavors of persimmon and the freshness of reineta apple intertwine. Its ending is prolonged and enigmatically complex.

Castilló d'Encus Jhana 2019, a wine Orange tree With the Costers del Segre Designation of Origin, it is the creation of Bodegas Castell d'Encus. This exquisite wine embodies the winery's passion and dedication. Founded in 2001 by Raül Bobet, inspired by the region's historical and natural wealth, Castell d'Encus stands in an idyllic landscape between 800 and 950 meters above sea level, framed by forests and the ruins of the ancient medieval village of Castilló d'Encus. In addition, the vineyards of Santa Engràcia (at 1.000 meters) and Astell (at 1.230 meters) are added, broadening the spectrum of flavors and aromas.

Castilló d'Encus Jhana 2019 captures the essence of its terroir with its 90% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot, demonstrating excellence in every sip. The grapes are harvested manually in small 10 kg boxes, carefully selecting the grapes from the estate itself to ensure exceptional quality. Subsequently, the low-temperature maceration process and fermentation in oak barrels give the wine a unique complexity, enriched by a six-month aging process.
