Aliaga Doscarlos Sauvignon Blanc 2023 is presented as a white made by the Viña Aliaga wineries in the Navarra DO. This wine is entirely composed of Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Located in Corella, in the heart of the Ribera Baja of Navarra, at the foot of Moncayo, the Fernández Aliaga family founded the Viña Aliaga winery with enthusiasm and professionalism in 1999. The extension of the winery covers 80 hectares, with an age average of 50-year-old vineyards, distributed in the areas of Ombatillo, Fornillo and Montecillo de Corella.
The harvest process is carried out using the "Tear Bleeding" method during the night. The grapes, harvested cold at night, enter the tank, where the must is separated from the skins by gravity before dawn, dispensing with any mechanical draining system. Next, alcoholic fermentation proceeds for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 14º C in stainless steel tanks.
