Beschreibung

Dieser Wein hat eine attraktive, leuchtend kirschrote Farbe, die Sie dazu einlädt, seine Komplexität zu entdecken. In der Nase zeigt er intensive Aromen von reifen Früchten und eine zarte Note von Veilchenbonbons, die seinen ausdrucksstarken und mineralischen Charakter unterstreichen. Im Mund nimmt man eine Passage voller Geschmack wahr, mit würzigen Noten, die mit der lebendigen Säure harmonieren und einen anhaltenden und ausgewogenen Eindruck hinterlassen.

Pícaro del Águila 2022, ein Rotwein mit der Herkunftsbezeichnung Ribera del Duero, entsteht aus der Meisterschaft von Dominio del Águila in La Aguilera, Burgos. Das 2010 von Jorge Monzón und Isabel Rodero gegründete Weingut hat seine Wurzeln in der Erfahrung von Jorge, der sein Önologiestudium in Bordeaux begann und dann seine Karriere bei renommierten Weingütern wie Romanée-Conti und Vega Sicilia aufbaute. Auf 35 Hektar Weinbergen, darunter 30 Hektar alte Reben und 5 relativ junge Hektar, wird hauptsächlich die Sorte Tempranillo, begleitet von anderen einheimischen Rebsorten wie Bobal, Garnacha und Albillo, auf sandig-kalkhaltigen Böden in 900 Metern Höhe angebaut.

Vom Weinbau bis zur Weinherstellung widmen sie sich bei Dominio del Águila mit Leidenschaft einem handwerklichen Prozess, der großen Respekt vor der Natur zeigt und Tradition und Wissen vereint. Von der Anwendung von Kräutertees wie Baldrian und Honigblatt bei der Pflege der Reben bis hin zur Entscheidung, den Wein nicht zu klären oder zu filtern, streben sie danach, Bio-Weine zu schaffen, die lange reifen, aber auch zu jedem Anlass genossen werden können .

Dieser Wein wird in Betontanks nach traditionellen Methoden vergoren, die seine Authentizität unterstreichen. Die Trauben werden im Weinkeller von Hand gepresst, wobei die Trauben ganz bleiben und nicht entrappt werden, um ihre ganze Essenz zu bewahren. Die malolaktische Gärung erfolgt auf natürliche Weise und erfolgt langsam in Eichenfässern, was dem endgültigen Profil des Weins Tiefe und Komplexität verleiht. Anschließend verbringt der Pícaro del Águila etwa 12 Monate in französischen Eichenholzwürfeln.
